League of legends - PROJECT : Hunters

Trailer for the PROJECT skins for Jhin, Vayne and VI character for League of Legends. Not a personal piece but a very fun project I had the chance to work on.

I was involved with lookdeving the master shots of the characters in lighting and compositing and I had to make them match the concept art as closely as possible.
Depth masks were a huge help to make it happen as it enabled to colorize the 3D in compositing and try different things rapidly. Most of the lighitng work was done in compositing, the 3d lighting part helped more with getting the different passes we needed to work in compositing. We iterated a lot as the shots went back and forth between the concept artist and me, I really liked that dynamic. My biggest challenge on the project was the shot with Jhin as I had to work almost only with red saturation which I was not used to. The team working on the project was really amazing and I hope to have the chance to work with them again.
