A study I did last year to get a better understanding of realistic human shading as well as Hair and Fur.
Modeling was done by Daniel Schiano while I was working at TuNousZAPasVus production for a WW2 documentary.
In the end we didn't use the model but I still wanted to finish it. Pore details have been done using a texture scan from Surfacemimic.
Rendered in 3ds Max/Vray. Texturing in Mari. Fur done with Ornatrix. Some tweaks in Zbrush.
